Holly riding high after her jump off success
COUNTY showjumper Holly Smith was on top form as she scooped first place in the Lord & Lady Equestrian Senior Newcomers Second Round at Vale View Equestrian Centre, Melton Mowbray.
Holly, from Loughborough, jumped two clean rounds on her sevenyear-old chestnut gelding HHS JD to make the jump-off.
In a class of 58 strong competitors, Holly pipped her nearest rival to the post as she crossed the finished line just 0.01 of a second ahead to take the win with a treble clear in 33.83 seconds.
