Having a coffee with friends, looking around your favourite shops and enjoying an unexpected chat with someone you haven’t seen for ages are things we’ve all missed during the pandemic. And with life once again bustling in high streets around the UK it’s a great time to step out, knowing you’re shopping safely.

Businesses from pubs to museums have been working hard to make sure their customers can return safely when they reopen from May 17. You’ll find one-way systems, sanitiser stations and plenty of fresh air – and remember to keep your distance from other people, check in using the app when requested and be prepared to use contactless payment; then you’ll be doing your bit to help too.
