This time Gregg, right, is in Athens and is immediately distracted by food en route to the Acropolis.

“I could do with a little pick-me-up,” he says, tucking into Loukoumades – Greek doughnuts drizzled with honey.

He does eventually reach the amazing ancient citadel of the Acropolis, exploring the thousands of years of history behind it, and visits one of the world’s finest Byzantine churches, discovers the birthplace of the modern Olympics, and even gets on stage to help with a production of a classic Greek tragedy.

It’s a foodie-heavy cultural tour, you’ll be hoping to see Greece on the green list some time soon.
