LET’S DO IT!

LINEKER AMONG CELEBS AND FANS HOPING THE FOXES MAKE HISTORY

-

TODAY’S the day! Leicester City are off to Wembley for their first FA Cup final since 1969 - and the whole of Leicestershire will be willing them to bring the famous old trophy home for the first time ever.

City, who have famously lost in the final four times, will seek to put the record straight this afternoon when they take on Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.

Among those wishing the team all the best are world snooker champ Mark Selby, City legend Emile Heskey and England goalscoring hero turned TV presenter Gary Lineker.

“Let’s do it,” Lineker said. “It’s been too long!”

The 6,250 City fans lucky enough to be at Wembley, and hundreds of thousands all over the world, will no doubt agree.
