VICTORY ‘WILL BE ETCHED INTO OUR HISTORY FOREVER’

-

IN online messages, fans urged the Foxes to bring home the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history. City have the unenviable record of being at the most FA Cup finals - four - without winning.

Paul Cave said: “I watched the three cup finals in the Sixties and we lost them all. Time to get the monkey off our backs.”

Scott Davis said: “Top four will be nice, but if we win this, it’ll be etched into our history forever. It’s the missing piece of the puzzle.”

Leigh Roy Jordan said: “Fifth time lucky.”

Some fans sent messages of support from far afield.

Chris Corcoran said: “I’ve been waiting for this since 1972. I’ll be cheering from Canberra.”

Neil Freddie O’Connell added: “Wishing my Leicester City all the best. Neil in the Philippines.”

Josie Mackness said: “You’ve got this, Leicester, from Brisbane Australia.”

Ann Busby said: “Will be supporting the lads from Perth Australia. You can do this.”

Bjorn Driege said: “Cheering from Leuven for the fearless Foxes!”

The last word must got to Colin Braithwaite, who kept the message simple, saying: “Come on, you Foxes.”
