AFTER months of anticipation, the first part of Leicestershire brewery Everards’ new home is now open.

Visitors are now able to visit the shop at Everards Meadows, close to Fosse Park.

You can pick up your favourite Everards beers, including Tiger, Sunchaser and Golden Hop, in bottle or mini keg. There are also mini casks of the latest limited-edition beers and merchandise from clothing to notebooks.

As well as buying in-store, customers can also click and collect online orders.

The next space to launch is the much-awaited beer hall, which will open on Thursday, June 3.

Bookings are now being taken.

Diners can enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner there, and a children’s menu and a gluten free menu will be available.

Everards beers will, of course, be available, along with a selection of other drinks, including local gins, spirits, fizz and a good old cuppa.

Whilst enjoying your food and drink, you will be able to see the

Everards brewing team at work through large glass windows behind the bar, which look onto the new state-of-the-art brewery.

In line with government guidance, the beer hall will initially be adhering to the rule of six or two households, and have table service in place. Everards opened its Everards Meadows site in summer 2019, and will be joining Jenno’s Coffee House and Rutland Cycling at this food, drink and leisure destination just off junction 21 of the M1.

The site, set in 70 acres of green space, gives customers the chance to eat, drink and shop. More experiences are set to come in the future, including brewery tours and the opportunity to brew your own beer.

To make a booking at the beer hall, visit the Everards website.
