Utility firm sorry for disruption

-

A UTILITY company has apologised for closing a village road for three days.

Severn Trent said the work in Thurcaston, Leicester Road, was to add a connection to its network.

Leicester Road, between Chapel

Close and Latimer Road, was shut on Monday.

The work was due to have been completed yesterday.

A spokesman said: “We’d like to thank customers for their patience and understanding, while we were working in Leicester Road in Thurcaston.

“To keep our engineers and other road users safe, we had to put a temporary road closure in place. We’re sorry for any disruption this caused.”
