Two need hospital treatment

TWO people were taken to in hospital after separate road accidents.

At 10.45pm on Wednesday, a cyclist was involved in a collision with a car in Red Hill Circle, Belgrave.

Police said the cyclist was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries that were neither life-threatenin­g nor life-changing and the road was later reopened.

No-one was arrested as a result of that incident.

At about 7.50am yesterday, a driver crashed into a bollard in Ashby Road, Shepshed. No other vehicles were involved.

The driver was taken to hospital but no details of their injuries have been released.
