Diversion as town road shut

A STRETCH of road less than a mile long is set to be shut and a diversion put in place.

The 0.8-mile section of Nottingham Road, in Loughborough, between the Station Boulevard junction and the Loughborough Road junction, will be closed on September 13 and 14.

The work is to be carried out between 8pm and 6am while Leicestershire County Council undertakes carriageway patch repairs.

The diversion will take drivers via the Derby Road and Melton Road, looping back around on to Loughborough Road.

The diversion will be signed on site for the duration of the work.
