A mAss singalong event is heading to Leicester later this month.

Kroud Karaoke is described as a festival-style singalong, where instead of one person getting on stage to sing, the whole “kroud” sings together.

You will have the chance to be a part of the musical event on Friday, september 24, when it comes to Leicester venue Lane7.

You can expect confetti, sing-off battles, inflatable mics, spot prizes and, of course, karaoke classics on the big screen.

And, the great news is there is no entry fee.

Kroud Karaoke was launched in 2019 by Chris schrouder and his son Alex, in Newcastle upon Tyne.

According to Chris, the brand has gone from strength to strength, playing sell-out events in the North East including stack, Paddy Fest and a metro Radio fireworks event pre-lockdown, which attracted 25,000 people.

more recently, Kroud Karaoke has attended a socially-distanced sell-out event at Hardwick Hall Hotel in County Durham, Festival by the sea in Blyth, Northumberland, and Newcastle’s Noughty 90s Festival, alongside acts including Peter Andre, East 17 and s Club.

Now, Chris and Alex and bringing the show to Lane7, and say they can’t wait to party with the people of Leicester. City centre venue Lane7 opened in the former Leicester Central railway station in October 2020.

The “leisure and nighttime destination” gives customers the chance to enjoy bowling, mini golf, UV ping pong, arcade games, and gaming tables, as well as a street food court and a variety of themed bars.

The Kroud Karaoke event will begin at 7pm on september 24, and you can book your place by visiting the Lane7 website.
