Let’s give our input to policing boss’s plans
ON July 14 you printed a letter from me concerning the new police and crime commissioner (“More concerned about PCC’s qualifications”, Mailbox).
I recognise that Mr Matthews was elected with a large majority and thus is it in all our interests - irrespective of political or social backgrounds - that he does an effective job coordinating Leicestershire Police with the local Councils and other partners.
This month the PCC has had distributed a leaflet calling for input from the public into his Police and Crime Plan.
The leaflet carries a QR code as well as a web address: The end date for input is October 18.
