Nominations now open for the best care professionals
OUR caring professionals are the lifeblood of any community.
Here in Leicestershire, their tireless dedication to the service of others has shone like a beacon during the darkest days of the Covid-19 pandemic.
They have been there for those in care or nursing homes, for those with autism or mental health conditions, or even those nearing the end of life.
Now it’s time to applaud the work of these unsung heroes at the LeicestershireLive Care Professional of the Year Awards 2022 .
The virtual awards, held in association with Inspired to Care, launched on Wednesday, with both caring professionals and those who use the care services invited to submit nominations.
“We believe our care and support professionals should be recognised for all the hard work they do, supporting people in Leicestershire every single day,” said a spokeswoman for Inspired to Care .
Categories include Best Newcomer to Care, Dementia Care Professional of the Year, Supporting Independence and Palliative Care Professional of the Year.
After the nomination closing date on Tuesday, January 4, three finalists will be shortlisted within each category by the expert judging panel, which will consist of representatives from our sponsors and care service users.
The winners will then be announced at the virtual awards, on Thursday, February 10.
