Insta post was not so smart, Alec
Like him or loathe him, it is difficult not to have sympathy for Alec Baldwin following his shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on set.
After being handed a gun he was assured was loaded with blank rounds, the actor pulled the trigger during a rehearsal and fatally wounded his “friend” with what investigators say appeared to be a live round. But after watching an impromptu press conference by the star and his wife, Hilaria, at the weekend I felt the sympathy I held wane.
His insufferable partner also took to Instagram to post a series of
smiling pictures of the couple and their six kids on Hallowe’en night, all dressed up.
“Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least,” she wrote alongside the photos.
Really? Hilaria may want to talk to Halyna’s widower about what it’s been like parenting their nineyear-old son “through this intense experience”.
I get that kids need normality in such trying times, but why take it to Instagram for all the world to see? It appears Hilaria’s thirst for attention knows no bounds, no matter how bad it makes her and her husband look.
