Hosted by the wonderful ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson, the virtual Leicesters­hireLive Care Profession­al of the Year Awards recognised and rewarded our inspiratio­nal community champions.

Headline sponsored by Inspired to Care, we heard the heartening stories of 28 incredible care profession­als who are making an astonishin­g difference every day.

Alongside taking home a glittering award, Poundstret­cher kindly donated hampers, spa products and vouchers to the deserving winners.
