Matthew said: “This is a superb local charity who have been around for over a hundred years, and offers local children the opportunity to take part in an exciting and confidence-boosting adventure holiday.”

Later in the year, Matthew will be taking part in a sponsored skydive alongside others, in addition to a five-mile sponsored walk around the Rutland Water, before rounding off the charity fundraising with a golf day in September.

On the upcoming awards, Matthew said: “The Leicestershire Law Society annual awards event celebrates legal excellence across our city and county. We have some very strong finalists this year and I wish all of those shortlisted the very best of luck.

“The quality of candidates for this year’s awards is a testament to the superb level of legal provision on offer for the people and businesses of our county and beyond.
