Basil meets fellow fox star Filbert
BASIL Brush dropped in to see his fellow fox Filbert at the King Power Stadium.
The children’s TV star met the Leicester City mascot during his visit to Leicester to perform two shows.
He was at Curve theatre with a family show and another, Unleashed, for adults only.
Basil first appeared on children’s TV in 1962. His TV series ran until 1984 and was revived for another five series in 2002.
He has also appeared in The Chase, Bruce Forsyth’s The Generation Game, The Weakest Link, Celebrity Juice, The Last Leg and as Dobby in a French & Saunders Harry Potter sketch for Comic Relief.
