BBL Cup Qualifying, October 22, 2021:
Riders handed Lions a first defeat of the season, as Geno Crandall top scored in a 93-76 victory at the Morningside Arena. Trailing at the break, Riders dominated the second half as they hit a 12-2 run midway through the third period which put them in front for good.
BBL Cup Qualifying, November 7, 2021:
An under-strength Leicester suffered their first loss since the opening night of the season when London won 95-81 at the Morningside Arena in the final game of BBL Cup qualifying. Crandall was typically on song, scoring 15 points and dishing out seven assists, while Conner Washington top scored with 20 points, and shooting 63 per cent, which included six of nine threepointers.
BBL Cup semi-final, first leg, December 10, 2021:
Riders took a critical first leg edge when they beat the Lions 99-96 at the Copper Box. Riders played outstandingly, and dominated the first three quarters, but the Lions came back to close within one, before Riders held on for the three-point cushion. Whelan top scored with 25 points, including a sensational six of seven three-pointers.
BBL Cup semi-final, second leg, December 30, 2021:
Riders beat London 79-74 in the second leg of the semi-final of the BBL Cup at the Morningside Arena. The win ensured Riders won the tie by 178-170 on aggregate to book their place in the BBL Cup final.
BBL Championship, February 4, 2022:
Riders pulled off a remarkable 80-67 win at the Copper Box to stay undefeated in the BBL Championship, holding London to just four points in the final quarter.
BBL Championship, February 13, 2022:
Riders suffered their first defeat in the BBL Championship, edged out by London 79-77 in a pulsating match at the Copper Box. Riders were missing Mo Walker with a hand injury and lost Marc Loving for much of the third quarter due to a cut.
BBL Championship, April 17, 2022:
Riders delivered a stunning display to beat the Lions 103-67 at the Morningside Arena. The match had been expected to be the fight for the BBL Championship title but Riders had wrapped up that piece of silverware 11 days earlier.
