Held in the vibrant and multicultural West End at the 2Funky Complex, its showcase this year will include graffiti workshops, dance competitions and family raves.
All genres of black music and every element of black culture will be honoured at the three-day celebration, with a LGBTQIA+ event also set to take place.
Headliners includie rapper and Dancing on Ice star Lady Leshurr, soul singer Natasha Watts and reggae artist Pressure Busspipe.
DJ sets also feature as part of the bank holiday celebrations and will include performances from DJ Day Day as well as upcoming artists, while international hip-hop group The Beatnuts and soul duo Children of Zeus are also in town.
Vijay Mistry, managing director of 2Funky Arts, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Festival2Funky back for its 11th outing and are proud to present a diverse and inclusive festival with cross-genre collaborations, experimental fusions, a vibrant network of artists, and dedicated LGBTQIA+ event.
