Family’s reappeal over missing man
The family of missing man Samuel Townsley have launched a fresh appeal a year on from his disappearance.
The 28-year-old, who stayed in West Dunbartonshire before he vanished, was last seen on Union Street in Glasgow, on October 19 last year. This week, his sister Ann Margaret Allan made a new appeal for information, 12 months after he went missing.
Six months ago, she said:“Our whole family is deeply concerned for the safety and wellbeing of Samuel and pray every day that we will get information to let us know he has been traced safe and well.
“Samuel if you are out there and frightened to come home please just call and let us know that you are OK.We love and miss you very much.”
Samuel is described as white, around 5ft 3ins in height and of stocky build with very short hair.
Samuel was known to sleep rough regularly and has moved around the country, with the police enquiry taking inWest Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Kilbride, Falkirk, Grangemouth, and Bonnybridge.
