Kindhearted members of a Dumbarton choir raised over £700 for a cancer ward.
All Sorts Choir, which has members from across West Dunbartonshire, hosted a coffee morning at St Augustine’s Episcopal Church at the weekend to raise funds for Calman Cancer Care Support in Gartnavel Hospital.
Those who went along to the event on Saturday had the chance to enjoy tea and coffee with a scone while members of the popular Dumbarton choir entertain with a variety of songs. Their efforts raised £710.
Ghislaine Kennedy, who helped organise the event, said: “We were so pleased with how much we raised. We had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed themselves.”
