The coun­cil’s com­mu­nity sports pro­gramme may be tak­ing a break just now but the busy staff atWest Dun­bar­ton­shire Leisure are al­ready gear­ing up for next year.

As­sis­tant foot­ball de­vel­op­ment of­fi­cer, Au­drey MacDon­ald said: “WDL Sports De­vel­op­ment Com­mu­nity Pro­gramme kicks off on Mon­day, Jan­uary 15.

“We have ses­sions avail­able for 18 months to adults. For the full pro­gramme please visit www.”

Be­fore the hol­i­days we sent pho­tog­ra­pher Colin Garvie along to the mini­kick­ers foot­ball ses­sion at Alexan­dria Com­mu­nity Cen­tre.

It takes place on a Fri­day morn­ing at the venue between 11am and noon as well as onWed­nes­days at 4pm to 5pm.

But kids can also at­tend other mini­kick­ers classes at Dum­bar­ton Acad­emy onWed­nes­days, Satur­days and Sun­days.
