This month’s winning pictures
There was quite a collection of pictures sent to us again over the past few weeks from some of our regular contributors, and from some new readers. We hope you like the assembled spread of photographs we’ve put together for your enjoyment.
“I went for a walk around Beccles Cemetery and saw this young blackbird having a meal of blackberries. There were a lot of berries about,” says Janice Tillett, of Lowestoft, Suffolk, whose picture of a bird enjoying a feast was awarded top spot in this month’s competition.
Margaret Broom, of Ipswich, Suffolk, took this photograph of these flowers in Mablethorpe, near Skegness, in Lincolnshire. “I loved the colourful mixture,” says Margaret, whose photo has been given the second place spot this month.
The photo of this grey heron was taken by Hayley King, of Pakefield, near Lowestoft, Suffolk, while on a family vacation in the Elveden Forest, Suffolk.
