Installing Linux through a graphical tool
Many Linux distributions – for example, Antergos and the various flavours of Ubuntu – provide you with a graphical tool for installing Linux to new media. For this, we recommend booting from a Live CD and then running the tool. At some point, you should have the option to choose the partitions to which to install Linux. For Antergos, for example, you can select ‘Choose exactly where Antergos will be installed’, and you then have the option to choose the correct main and boot partitions. It’s always useful to know how to do this manually, though.
