Neisha crosland’s family home in the capital features her textile designs mixed with some funky new fittings

THE OWNERS Textile and accessories designer Neisha Crosland, her financier husband Stephane and their sons Oscar, 19, and Samuel, 15.

THE PROPERTY A two-storey, L-shaped house in southwest London, comprising an entrance hall, living room, kitchen, dining room and games room on the ground floor and three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two offices and a playroom on the second floor. There are also two small attic rooms – one for the boys to chill out in, the other a guest bedroom suite. Next door, linked via a garage below and roof-terrace garden above, is a three-storey design studio and showroom.

Dining Room

‘The extra-long table can cater for lots of people during celebrations, such as Christmas and family birthdays,’ says Neisha. ‘But it’s a bit like the elephant in the room – it does take over. However, it looks gorgeous at night in candlelight.’

Get the look The table was custom-built by Cimitree. The screen and Salon chairs are from Christopher Howe, the latter upholstered in Neisha’s Plain cottons (now discontinued). This is an Oak Tree chandelier by Cox London.

Dining Room DETAIL

‘This was the old kitchen area, which we turned into Stephane’s wine corner – we like our wine,’ says Neisha, laughing. ‘But it really does make a difference having the right glasses!’

Get the look The custom-made cabinet with zinc top and crackle-glazed finish is by Ian Harper – concealed behind the doors are dishwashers for the glasses. The vintage sideboard was inherited from Neisha’s mother.
