Mack­erel and ap­ple cros­tini

Makes 20

½ x 268g pack pep­pered mack­erel fil­lets

50g cream cheese juice of half a lemon, plus ex­tra for the ap­ple 1 ta­ble­spoon creamed horse­rad­ish salt and black pep­per ½ green ap­ple, sliced and cut into match­sticks 20 ready-made cros­tini (we used Crosta & Mol­lica chilli flavour) Put the mack­erel, cream cheese, lemon juice, horse­rad­ish and a lit­tle sea­son­ing into a food pro­cesser. Blitz un­til smooth.

Toss the ap­ple in the re­main­ing lemon juice. Spread the mack­erel pâté on top of the cros­tini and serve with the ap­ple match­sticks scat­tered on top.
