Accomplished Milan-based designer and architect Antonio Citterio has turned his attention to the frame of the bed in his latest creation for Italian brand Flexform. The Gregory bed’s slender metal base – which can be finished in satin, chrome, black chrome or burnished – is neatly wrapped in leather strips, which contrast sharply with the metallic sheen, creating three-dimensional stripes. All that’s left to do is choose from leather or fabric for the goosedown-filled backrest upholstery and order the matching sofa. From £6,021 (flexform.it)
