THINGS TO DO THIS MONTH

IN THE GARDEN

1 Tuck spring bulbs up in the ground and look forward to a spring display.

2 Sow a green manure on veggie patches that would be left empty.

3 Sow broad beans and hardy peas in the ground, and garlic cloves in pots.

4 Cut autumn raspberries down to the ground, but leave a couple of canes standing to give an early crop.
