I like to mix old with new, adopting unexpected references and styles in new and unique ways. My interiors are rooted in the traditional but the result is often much more contemporary.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM THIS RENOVATION?

How much one can accomplish with furniture and paint colours alone. Most of our projects require a lot of building work, which wasn’t possible here and so we had to be creative in other ways. I was thrilled with the result.

DREAM HOME?

We have actually just left London for our dream house in Wiltshire – it’s a converted mill on the River Avon, built from Cotswold stone and complete with wonky walls and old beams.

FAVOURITE FABRIC?

Palms on Silk by Robert Kime. I can’t believe I haven’t used it yet…

IF YOU WERE A SOFA, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BE?

Our Talitha sofa, which was named after Talitha Getty and reminiscent of lazy, sunny days spent lounging on a rooftop in Morocco. Super relaxed and supremely comfortable – what I aspire to be!
