WHAT’S ON YOUR INTERIORS WISH LIST?

I’d like to invest in some art – something meaningful. We have a couple of empty wall spaces where I can imagine it.

FAVE COLOUR COMBO?

The wallpaper in the dining area is my perfect colour combo. Dark teal greens with natural/earthy tones. Any kind of rich green and then the offsetting of natural colours is my thing.

DREAM HOUSE AND LOCATION?

Every summer we go to Canada for at least a month, so we recently bought our dream house in Nova Scotia, 15 minutes from where I grew up. Hopefully our kids will feel like they’re rooted in Canada. It overlooks the ocean but you can walk into town. I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot.

FAVOURITE ROOM?

Is it bad to say the pantry? I go in there and close the door sometimes – it’s my happy place.

DESIGN INSPIRATION?

When I was looking for ideas on Pinterest, I’d search for houses in London that had been redone because they integrate the very old with modern, and the same with Quebec architecture. I want to feel like the house belongs, but also has a focus on nature or natural materials, modern but not cold.

WHO DO YOU LOVE FOLLOWING ON INSTAGRAM FOR DESIGN IDEAS?

Elizabeth Roberts. All of her stuff is so beautiful. She’s the only designer that I follow on Instagram, not that I follow a lot of people!
