Kierra Campbell and Whinnie Williams of Poodle & Blonde share their WFH design tips

1

Don’t forget your ‘fifth wall’ – the ceiling. Use reflective paint, tiles or, of course, wallpaper to help bounce light around and make the space feel bigger. 2

When styling surfaces, always do it in odd numbers – we like the power of three! Also think about varying the heights and shapes of the pieces so it is exciting on the eye. 3

If you are working at home in a room with little or no natural light, a well-placed mirror can mimic a window and make the room feel much brighter. Having lots of plants around will also help bring in the outdoors. 4

Have at least one large vintage piece in every room. It is a great way to elevate a space and make it feel unique. 5

When choosing artwork, go big and think outside the box – frame old tea towels, wallpaper or a length of fabric.
