Revolving door

Designer Tamzin Greenhill has turned her basement into a family area, choosing to go for one large pivot door from which to access the outside. Rather than being hinged to an adjacent frame at the side as the door leaf swings open, pivot doors rotate around a mechanism that’s positioned at the top and bottom of the door panel, maximising space and stopping the bunched-up look that open bifolds can create.
