MINNIE’S SHOPPING PICKS OF THE MONTH
DINE BY CANDLELIGHT
Every one of these Crown Candelabras from Sebastian Cox are different. The nine stems are turned on a lathe, giving each a unique shape and covering of bark. They’re made from rods of hazel, coppiced from Sebastian’s own woodland and joined to a sculpted base of English ash. Place this on your table as the centrepiece this Christmas and let the family fun unfold around the flickering candlelight. sebastiancox.co.uk
MIRROR, MIRROR
I love this 1970s Italian carved stone mirror from the London-based practice Beau Traps. Here’s a fun fact for you: a beau trap is early 19th-century slang for a loose paving stone underneath which rainwater gathers, and where the water splashes up on you when you step on it. Share that around the table at Christmas if you fancy… beau-traps.com
