DESIGN HIGHLIGHT

This is a brand new hotel designed in a historic way. Timber and marble details are tempered with plush textiles, giving the place the feel of a traditional yet upmarket lodge. But it’s not all classic… there are also plenty of offbeat, quirky touches such as street art-style murals and lively pendant lighting.

ON THE MENU

As a nod to its roots (the hotel is built on the site of a former bakery), Armancette has a sensational tearoom where you can enjoy breads, pastries and cakes made by the in-house baker. The restaurant has a well-edited selection of dishes for all palates.

They’re very welcome, and can be accommodated in duplex or family rooms. There’s a free kids’ club at weekends and during the holidays, plus a dedicated children’s menu in the restaurant.
