Lidl store on way to retail park

RETAIL giant Lidl has confirmed plans for a new store in Cross Hands, with the creation of 14 new jobs.

The German-owned retailer has signed up to a new 23,000 sq ft store at the Cross Hands Retail Park.

The lease agreement has been confirmed by the retail park’s owners Conygar Investment Company Plc

A planning application to vary the existing consent for a food store has been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council. Conygar is expected to commence construction during the autumn with a target completion of next April.

Once Lidl is operating 80,000 sq ft of the park will be income generating.
