Fun day Families enjoyed a fun day at Parc Howard lats month in aid of Parc Howard Association with a variety of stalls and entertainment from Llanelli Community Wind Band and a performance from the Hive Theatre School. Proceedings were kept running smoothly by Llanelli’s very own town crier, Eldon Phillips.

Vocal Harmony (Llanelli) Is a fun, upbeat, contemporary choir. Singers don’t need to read music, there is no audition and no age limit. The choir rehearses at St Peter’s Church, Paddock Street, from 7pm to 9pm every Wednesday.

PRESIDENT of the Carmarthenshire Bowling Association, Mary Moore, presents a cheque for £200 to the Burry Port dementia and community group. The money was raised on her President’s Day when bowling clubs from Carmarthenshire met for a game and donated to her charity.
