Fun day Fam­i­lies en­joyed a fun day at Parc Howard lats month in aid of Parc Howard As­so­ci­a­tion with a va­ri­ety of stalls and en­ter­tain­ment from Llanelli Com­mu­nity Wind Band and a per­for­mance from the Hive Theatre School. Pro­ceed­ings were kept run­ning smoothly by Llanelli’s very own town crier, El­don Phillips.

Llanelli Hu­man­ists Meet at Costa (next to Odeon) ev­ery Wed­nes­day from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Blood­wisee Will meet at 7p this evening in Carol’s house. Verses in Vino Will be held this evening in Al­talia restau­rant at 7pm. This will be a light-hearted fun evening con­sist­ing of poetry, lim­er­icks and­prose. Ad­mis­sion of £2 in­cludes a free raf­fle.

Vo­cal Har­mony (Llanelli) Is a fun, up­beat, con­tem­po­rary choir. Singers don’t need to read mu­sic, there is no au­di­tion and no age limit. The choir re­hearses at St Peter’s Church, Pad­dock Street, from 7pm to 9pm ev­ery Wed­nes­day.

Llanelli Ram­blers Will take a six-mile mod­er­ate walk in

PRES­I­DENT of the Car­marthen­shire Bowl­ing As­so­ci­a­tion, Mary Moore, presents a cheque for £200 to the Burry Port de­men­tia and com­mu­nity group. The money was raised on her Pres­i­dent’s Day when bowl­ing clubs from Car­marthen­shire met for a game and do­nated to her char­ity.
