Fun day Families enjoyed a fun day at Parc Howard lats month in aid of Parc Howard Associatio­n with a variety of stalls and entertainm­ent from Llanelli Community Wind Band and a performanc­e from the Hive Theatre School. Proceeding­s were kept running smoothly by Llanelli’s very own town crier, Eldon Phillips.

Llanelli Humanists Meet at Costa (next to Odeon) every Wednesday from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Bloodwisee Will meet at 7p this evening in Carol’s house. Verses in Vino Will be held this evening in Altalia restaurant at 7pm. This will be a light-hearted fun evening consisting of poetry, limericks andprose. Admission of £2 includes a free raffle.

Vocal Harmony (Llanelli) Is a fun, upbeat, contempora­ry choir. Singers don’t need to read music, there is no audition and no age limit. The choir rehearses at St Peter’s Church, Paddock Street, from 7pm to 9pm every Wednesday.

Llanelli Ramblers Will take a six-mile moderate walk in
