British Legion Headquarte­rs Every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday there is coffee and bingo in the Royal British Legion headquarte­rs,Burry Port at 8pm. Admission 50p.Last bingo books 7.50pm.

Litter Pick The Pembrey and Burry Port Grab and Bag volunteer litter picking group will be meeting at the Shoreline area and beach meeting at Shoreline car park SN 438 002 on Friday at 10am until noon. All equipment is provided but please be sure to bring a pair of gloves.We are joining in with the All Wales Beach Clean. As well as cleaning up our local areas volunteers can also sign up to receive time credits. Everyone is welcome but children under 16 must be accompanie­d by an adult. Choir cream tea On Tuesday, the ladies’ fundraisin­g section of Burry Port Male Choir are holding a cream tea in Jerusalem vestry from 2.30 to 4pm.Admission £2 to include tea or coffee,scone,jam and cream. The stalls will be selling homemade cakes, books, jewellery and accessorie­s, new unwanted gifts and a raffle. Please support your local choir. Friends of Tenovus Cancer Care The Pembrey and Burry Port friends are starting a Meet with Us on the first Tuesday of the month until further notice.The first meeting is on Tuesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in Pembrey Church Hall, Randell Square, Pembrey.
