Mangan try sets Amman on their way

AMMAN United have started the season strongly after claiming an 18-6 win over Llandybie in Three West B.

Sean Mangan got the only try of the game, with Steff Rees kicking the rest of the points.

Amman look like one of the strong candidates to earn promotion alongside Betws, who handed out a 55-0 thrashing to Penybanc.

Daniel Thomas helped himself to a hat-trick, while Nathan Peters and Aaron Evans both crossed twice.

Further tries came from Carwyn Davies and Gareth Comely, while Adrian Thomas kicked three conversion­s and Dan Thomas added another two.

Bynea also made it two wins from two with an 18-3 triumph over New Dock Stars.

Trimsaran also have two wins to their name following their 15-9 success over Cefneithin.

Philip Davies and Dan Griffiths each scored a try while the latter added a conversion and penalty. Richard Watts kicked three penalties for Cefneithin.

Nantgaredi­g beat Lampeter Town 18-10 and Llangadog edged past Llandeilo 18-16.

Meanwhile, Neyland and Milford Haven sit at the top of Three West A following wins over Pembroke Dock Quins and Haverfordw­est

Neyland ran in 10 tries in a 60-6 win, while Milford Haven picked up a bonus point with a 24-18 victory.

Llanybydde­r eased to a 45-0 win over Tregaron, Llangwm beat St Davids 15-7 and Aberaeron pipped Cardigan 24-22.
