Gow­er­ton set pace at sum­mit

GOW­ER­TON are the early pace­set­ters in One West fol­low­ing their 22-15 win at Dun­vant.

Luke Davies, wing An­thony Os­borne and flanker Matthew Cherry led the at­tack with a try apiece, while fly-half Paul Spowart kicked the rest of the points.

Dun­vant bagged two tries with cen­tre Mark Rob­bins and No. 8 Craig Hawkins go­ing over. Fly-half Richard Lewis added a con­ver­sion and a penalty, which proved only enough to take a los­ing bonus point.

Felin­foel joined Gow­er­ton at the top on nine points with a 39-25 win over Llan­gen­nech.

Gow­er­ton go up against neigh­bours Gor­seinon next, while Felin­foel travel to Aberys­t­wyth.

Gor­seinon are up and run­ning af­ter a com­fort­able 43-14 win over Hendy . Llanelli Wan­der­ers saw off Kidwelly 22-11. Hendy will look to grab their first win of the sea­son against fel­low win­less side Tenby United on Satur­day.

Llanelli Wan­der­ers host Dun­vant and Kidwelly go to Llan­gen­nech.

Else­where, Whit­land sealed a nar­row 13-11 win at Tenby United while Aberys­t­wyth were 19-15 win­ners against Crymych.

Kidwelly cap­tain Jonathan Wil­liams is halted by the Llanelli Wan­der­ers de­fence.
