Rob stars in Gower blitz

SOUTH Gower lead the way in Three West Central C following their 51-3 victory over Fall Bay.

Rob Mogridge scored a hat-trick, with Josh Humphries helping himself to two tries.

Ben Davies, Nathan Davies, Angus Morris and Sam Rees were the other scorers.

Craig Jones got Fall Bay’s only points with a penalty.

Furnace United also recorded a big win, beating Cwmtwrch 43-3. Jamie Herbert and Phil Jones both scored two tries and there were further efforts from Rhys Phillips, Ashley Powell and Ben Jackson.

Herbert and Powell added two conversions each.

Rob James ensured Cwmtwrch got points on the board with a penalty.

Penygroes made it two wins from two with a 16-6 victory over Pantyffynnon.

Callum McKenzie grabbed all of the points for Penygroes with a try, conversion and three penalties.

Nick James hit back with two penalties for Pantyffynnon.

Tonna have also started well and enjoyed a 38-26 victory over Pontardawe. The tries were shared between Rhys Jones, Rhodri Rees, Josh Ebbitt, Chris Sutton, Gavin Richards and Adam Gubb.

Ogmore Vale were 25-17 winners at Cwmgwrach.
