THE annual Seniors Open at Derllys Court Golf Club attracted more than 100 players.
Visitors from Mond Valley, Pontardawe, Rhondda, Langland Bay, Penrhos, Fairwood Park, Carmarthen, Tenby, Gower, Coedy-Mwstwr and Pennard joined home players at Derllys to make up an entry list of 104.
A hole-in-one at the fifth hole for Fairwood’s Steve George was one of the highlights of the day, with the top two scores going to Peter Ellis (40pts) and Philip Evans (39), both from Mond Valley in Clydach. They took the first two places in the 65-69 age group.
In the younger age group (5564), home player Ian Robertson again showed his ability to win at big tournaments with his 38 points taking first place in that group. The Seniors Open winners at Derllys Court Golf Club.
