KO launches new season

THE Carmarthen and District Winter Men’s Darts League sponsored by the Gremlin Club start their programme this week with the first round of the Team KO.

Draw: Coracle B v Railway B, Fountain v Stag Nomads, Queens A v Mansel B, Mansel A v White Lion, Gremlin v Coracle A, Stag’s Head v Black Lion, Plough Select v Queens B, Wheatsheaf v Farmers, Railway A v Carpenters, Friends v Plough & Harrow.

Matches consist of five players playing seven legs of 901 with the fixtures reversed the following week to find the winners.

At the recent meeting every side was presented with a new Red Dragon playing board. The brand is now associated with the league.

Due to one side withdrawing from division one, the Fountain retain their status. Two new teams — Mansel B and The Friends — come into division two.

Both Stag & Pheasant sides have now moved to The Coracle with Coracle A having the players who won the title last year.
