TRALLWM MAINTAIN A PERFECT RECORD

TRALLWM have made the best possible start to life in the LTC Mobility Premier League Premier division, and are one of two teams still boasting 100 per cent records following a 3-1 win at home to Pontarddul­ais Town.

Trallwm did it in style with goals from Jonathan Fagan, Jamie Evans and Kris Brown.

Leaders Trostre Sports are the other team yet to drop a point, and they made it five from five when defeating visiting Pengelli United 6-4.

Striker Chris Waters was again in the thick of the action with a hattrick, and there were other goals by Liam Jones, Corey Thomas and Ashley Lewis.

Bwlch Rangers had to settle for a point at home to Killay, fighting back from a 2-1 half-time deficit to share the points in a 3-3 draw.

Matthew Hughes triggered the recovery with two of the goals, with Clayton Jenkins also netting.

After stunning previously unbeaten Evans & Williams in midweek, Dafen claimed another three points following a hard-fought 2-1 win at home to Carmarthen Stars thanks to goals from George Lavender and Steve Coomey.

Evans & Williams bounced back from that defeat when winning their clash at Gorseinon Athletic 2-0. The deadlock was broken in the 67th minute by ex-Llanelli Town goalkeeper Craig Richards. Rory Johns netted a second goal in the 89th minute.

Pontlliw look to have a team strong enough team to return to the top flight at the first attempt. Adam Scott scored a hat-trick in helping the leaders keep their 100 per cent record with a crushing 9-2 win at home Llandovery Town in division one.

Four of the goals were shared between Dan Smale and Luke Michaels, which included a penalty, while Jason Disbury and Andrew Shaw were the others to find the net.

After losing their first four games in the league, Caerbryn fielded a muchchange­d team for the trip to Abergwili. And the new-look visitors did the business in winning 5-2, inspired by a hat-trick from Ryan Lee Wright.

The clash between CK Swiss Valley and visiting Johnstown ended 2-2. A couple of goals for Johnstown by striker Richard Whalley were cancelled out by Daniel Evans and Shane Richards.

Ammanford Town and Burry Port shared a 4-4 draw. On target for Ammanford were Ben Jones (3) and Jamie Evans.

Lewis James scored two for Burry Port with Sean Williams and Ioan Williams also on target.

Still unbeaten in division two are Drefach, who stretched their run to five with a 3-2 win at CP Suburbs.

Chris Amos fired two of the goals with John Price netting the other.

Llangennec­h will have been delighted with their 3-2 win at Carway. All the goals were scored in the second half.

On target with two of the goals was John Dakin, while Corrie Jenkins also scored. Zak Hartley and Jeremy Rees with a penalty replied for the home team.

FC Carmarthen proved too strong for visiting Penllergae­r, with Ashley Prior grabbing four goals in a 5-2 win. Thomas Joyce scored the other goal.

In the top game in reserve division one, Dafen just about deserved the 2-1 win at home to Bwlch Rangers. Goals from Ryan Evans and Hans Singh proved enough.

There was also a hat-trick for Steve Banfield, which inspired Evans & Williams Reserves to a 7-1 win at home to Camford Sports Reserves in the first round of the Darch Cup.

Jared Peake struck twice and there were also goals from Chris Gregory and Shaun Watkins.

In reserve division two, Burry Port beat Felinfoel 7-2.

Port’s goals were scored by Jarad Edwards (2), Charlie Taylor (2), Jamie Dunleavy and Jamie Phillips.

In midweek, there were hat-tricks for both George Lavender and Rhys Winnett to help Dafen inflict a 6-2 defeat on visiting Evans & Williams.

Trailing 4-0 at half-time, there was no way back for Evans & Williams, but they refused to throw in the towel and were rewarded with a couple of goals from Jonny Thomas.

Four of the goals for Carmarthen Stars in the 6-3 win at home to Tumble United were shared between Thomas Harvey and Alex Thomas.

Also on target were Geraint Rees and Sam Wilson.

Defending champions Bwlch Rangers rediscover­ed the form and style that took them to the title last season in a 7-0 win at Pwll Athletic. Striker Clayton Jenkins scored four of the goals.

Ian Evans, Matthew Hughes and Matthew Williams also netted.

Seaside went down 3-1 at home to Pontarddul­ais Town. Striker Aled James capped an outstandin­g display with two of the goals for Pontarddul­ais, and there was one for Joel Beynon.

Trallwm received plaudits for their performanc­e from opponents Killay when winning their home clash 5-1.

Luke Nicholas caught the eye with two of the goals, with the others scored by Chad Tinnuche, Kris Brown and Chris Griffiths.

Pengelli United were twice behind at home to neighbours Gorseinon Athletic, but hit back to share the points in a 2-2 draw.

Ewan Lindsey cancelled out an early goal from Gorseinon, before Adrian Hoyles rescued a point for Pengelli with an 89th-minute equaliser.

Trostre Sports beat visiting

Loughor Rovers 6-4.

At half-time there was nothing to choose between the teams in the 10goal thriller, but helped by a couple of goals from Ashton Jones it was Trostre who eventually took control.

The remaining goals for Trostre were scored by Ashley Lewis, Corey Thomas, Jamie Jenkins and Liam Jones.

Pontlliw enjoyed a 12-1 victory over Caerbryn. Striker Dan Smale proved too hot to handle with five of the goals. Luke Michaels struck twice for Pontlliw, and there were goals for Adam Scott, Jordan Gibbs, Jack Medwin, James Howells and Jason Disbury.

Tim Walters grabbed a late winner for Johnstown against Kidwelly Town as they edged a 4-3 victory. Richard Whalley netted twice for the home team and there was a goal for Scott Thomas.

CK Swiss Valley were in action at Burry Port, and will have been kicking themselves after letting slip a 4-1 half-time lead in a 4-4 draw.

With Robert Owens grabbing two goals the early exchanges were dominated by the visitors, who capitalise­d further through Shane Richards and Dan Evans.

Carway battled back to beat visiting CP Suburbs 4-3 in division two.

It was a deserved three points for Carway, for whom Jamie Rees, Robert Maynard, Dominic Foreman and Jeremy Rees – with a penalty – found the net.

After drawing their first three games, Drefach finally got off the mark with a thumping 5-2 win at home to Hendy.

Tom Butler led the charge with two goals, while Dai Williams, Hedd Tudur and Chris Amos also netted.

In a dramatic climax to a cracking clash, FC Carmarthen scored in the 90th minute to claim a 2-1 win at home to Carmarthen United.

On target for FC Carmarthen were Thomas Joyce and Ashley Prior.

A hat-trick for Jon Dakin helped Llangennec­h to a comfortabl­e 4-0 win at Llanelli Park Rangers. Corrie Jenkins also scored.
