PENCLAWDD maintained their perfect league record with a thumping 59-16 triumph over St Clears in Two West.

Lee Gunnell led the way with a hat-trick while James Snell and Kristian Corbisiero both bagged braces.

Jonathan Hughes and Rhys Eaton also went over with Eaton kicking two conversion­s and Ollie Smith kicking five.

Lee Glanville replied with a try for St Clears, while James Davies fired over three penalties and a conversion.

Carmarthen Athletic also picked up their third win in as many games with a 27-11 victory over newly promoted Pembroke.

James Newman scored twice with Karl Williams and Robbie Thomas ensuring they picked up a bonus point.

Williams sealed the win with two conversion­s and a penalty.

Tycroes returned to winning ways with a 22-17 success over Mumbles, who are still searching for their first win of the season.
