Kelly rues discipline issues after Celtic Cup reverse

-

SCARLETS A went down 16-10 against Leinster A at Parc y Scarlets in the Celtic Cup.

A Declan Smith try and five points from the boot of Morgan Williams earned the home side a losing bonus point. Connor O’Brien scored for Leinster with Noel Reid kicking 11 points.

“Our discipline let us down at times and allowed them into our territory where they managed to get points,” said Scarlets head coach Richard Kelly.

“The aerial contest is always massive against Leinster, which we dealt with well throughout. Simon Gardiner and Tom Price stood up well, with Steff Hughes at 10 playing out of position some of the positives we can take”

The Scarlets host Connacht at the Park in Carmarthen on Saturday (2.30pm).
