Morgan is the star as Trimsaran hit top form

TRIMSARAN stole the spotlight in Three West B with a huge 52-10 win at bottom club Penybanc.

Dan Morgan crashed over twice and was followed over by Thomas Bonnell, Dan Griffiths, Steff Roberts, Ryan Edwards and Ioan Jones.

Griffiths added a penalty and six conversion­s, while Cody Phillips fired over a seventh.

Shaun Jones and Adrian Pugh hit back for pointless Penybanc.

Bynea’s trip to Lampeter Town was postponed due to the wet weather that swept over South and West Wales.

It meant that Nantgaredi­g took over at the top with a 38-15 win at Llangadog.

A two-try blast from Den Nicholas set them on their way, and Carwyn Davies, Rhys Edwards and Dafydd Lewis ensured they picked up the bonus point.

Meirion Davies then added the rest of the points from the tee.

Rhodri Jenkins and Tomos Rees went over in reply for Llangadog, with Dafydd Jenkins kicking five points.

Betws remain in second place in the table after edging past winless New Dock Stars 25-23.

A try from Gareth Comley and two from Ashley Evans led Betws to victory.

Adrian Thomas kicked two penalties and two conversion­s.

Elsewhere, a Doug Jenkins try and eight points from the boot of Steffan Rees led Amman United to a 13-6 win at Cefneithin.

Llandybie went down 14-13 in a tight battle with Llandeilo.

The big clash this weekend sees table-topping Nantgaredi­g host Bynea.

Second-placed Betws will be favourites to see off Lampeter Town and in-form Trimsaran look for their fourth straight win when they take on New Dock Stars.

In Three West A, Laugharne made it 10 points from 10 with an impressive 45-13 triumph over Llangwm.

Tom Jameson and Owain Thomas were both at the double.

Tom Windsor, Lee Thomas and Mikey Williams also went over for tries.

Steff Davies fired over five conversion­s to add gloss to the scoreline.

Neyland beat Llanybydde­r 22-16 and Milford Haven were 55-5 winners at St Davids to continue their perfect start to the campaign.

Elsewhere, Haverfordw­est beat Pembroke Dock Quins 44-3 and Cardigan saw off Tregaron 12-9 in a tight clash.
