Big shocks as lead­ing trio all lose

THE league took a sur­pris­ing twist in Three West Cen­tral C as the top three all lost.

Lead­ers South Gower went down 25-17 at Pan­tyffyn­non.

Luke Prosser, Matthew Jones and Harry Crid­dle all went over, with Nick James kicking the rest of the points to con­demn South Gower to their first de­feat of the sea­son.

Tonna failed to take ad­van­tage as they lost 23-20 to Cwmg­wrach.

Ian Wil­liams and Gareth Hud­son added to a penalty try, with Jonathan Evans kicking a penalty for Tonna.

But Luke Wil­liams kicked 13 points for Cwmg­wrach, with Robert Collins and Dan Mor­gan tries seal­ing the win.

Peny­groes also couldn’t take ad­van­tage as they lost 13-6 to Cwmtwrch, for whom Jake O’Connor bagged all of the points.

Ponty­ates lost 19-7 at Og­more Vale and Pon­tar­dawe’s trip to Fall Bay was post­poned.
