Queens hit back in style

QUEENS A stole the show as the second leg of the first round of the Fives KO was completed in the Carmarthen and District Winter Men’s Darts League sponsored by the Gremlin Club.

There were no shocks and no sudden-death legs, but Queens A overturned a first-leg deficit to progress at the expense of Mansel B.

Joining them at the KO finals night at the Gremlin Club will be Black Lion, Carpenters, Coracle A, Farmers Arms, Plough & Harrow, Queens B, Railway B, Stag Nomads and White Lion.

All other teams will compete for the Plate KO on the same night at the Railway Club.

180s: Phil Davies, Richard Davies, Peter Evans, Paul Emmanuel, Mike Hughes, Richard Jupp, Mike Morris and Mike Jones.

Both divisions start their full league programme this week. Coracle A begin as favourites for the division one title, with the White Lion and Black Lion both looking to challenge.
