RESOLVEN’S strong start in Two West Central shows no signs of slowing down after a comprehens­ive 3518 win at Morriston.

Roy Jones, Joel Healey, Nicky Reed and Guy Felton added to a penalty try as Resolven claimed five points.

Steff Williams added the other four conversion­s as the Neath Valley side made it seven wins from as many games. BONYMAEN kept their place at the top of One West Central following their 29-18 win over Kenfig Hill.

Sam Jones crossed twice, with Ben Davies and Curtis Lynch ensuring Bonymaen took the bonus point. Chris Moore kicked nine points. Kenfig Hill hit back through tries from Jamie Williams and Tom Briggs.

Nicky Giles fired over two penalties and a conversion.

Glynneath made it six wins from six with a 35-0 triumph at Waunarlwyd­d. Aled Evans, Gareth Hall, Owen Nesbitt, Harri Morgan and Callum McPhee grabbed the tries. Dylan Francis kicked four conversion­s and Jack O’Reilly added a fifth.

Glynneath are only one point behind Bonymaen with a game in hand.

Ystalyfera are two points off Glynneath and will be full of confidence after their 68-15 victory over Maesteg Celtic. Steff Castle, Josh Jarrett and Bowdy Davies all crossed twice, with the rest of the tries shared around between Zak Beynon, Luc Caines, Ryan James and Paul Davies.

Castle only missed one conversion as he ended with a tally of 28 points.

Ryan Lovatt, Lee Arthur and Morgan Harris went over for Celtic.

Skewen also celebrated victory as they defeated Ammanford 23-8. Dai Morgan took the plaudits with a brace of tries and Lloyd Phillips followed him over the line.

Brynaman claimed a 27-15 win over Tondu.

Thomas Powell, Arthur Lennon and Rhys Williams were among the tries, with the latter kicking 12 points.

Gareth Lindenburn and Josh Tatchell replied for the Waterwheel­ers, with Tatchell kicking five points.

Birchgrove are only two points behind after their sixth league win, a narrow 13-9 triumph over Taibach thanks to tries by Callum Llewellyn and Liam Richards. Adam Rowlands added a penalty.

Taibach took a losing bonus points thanks to two penalties by Aaron Jones and a third by Craig Clement.

Porthcawl lost ground on the top two as they lost 26-12 at Pencoed, their first defeat of the season.

Jordan Fox and Jordan Phillips bagged tries for the Seaweeds, who saw Ben Thomas kick a conversion.

But Adam Williams and Rhys Bargery hit back for Pencoed. Rhys Clarke kicked 10 points and Tom Cross added a penalty and a dropgoal.

At the other end, Cwmavon are still winless after a 40-10 defeat at Nantymoel. A penalty try and Cameron Bamford penalty were all Cwmavon could muster while Nantymoel ran in six tries via Rhys Bevan (2), Nathan Davies, David Jones, Graham Morgan and David Eades.

Ryan Davies sealed the win with five conversion­s.

Elsewhere, Seven Sisters beat Ystradgynl­ais 19-10 while Nantyffyll­on and Builth Wells drew 20-20.
