Junctions closed after lorry sheds milk load
CROSS Hands roundabout was closed after a lorry lost its load of milk, turning the surface white.
The police said all junctions had been closed on Thursday afternoon as a result of the spillage.
Dyfed-Powys Police and council officers were at the scene dealing with the incident, with police urging people to find an alternative route.
Director of Cross Hands Commercials Ltd, Lee Collins, was on his way back to the company’s base in Cross Hands Business Park when he spotted the mess.
He said: “It’s caused carnage there, a big clean-up is going to be needed.
“It has completely covered the road, the truck was going round the roundabout and it has happened at some point then, so the milk has gone everywhere.”
