Thrilling first novel
A FORMER journalist has published her first book, drawing inspiration from her time spent working in a busy newsroom.
Llanelli-based author Deborah Williams says publishing Seven Daughters of Eve was a dream come true.
Centred on a small coastal town where a young newspaper reporter researches the stories of five missing people, Seven Daughters Of Eve is the thrilling first novel published by Mrs Williams.
The former South Wales Evening Post news editor wasted no time after retiring as a press manager for Carmarthenshire Council, saying goodbye to her colleagues in December last year and signing a contract with UK-wide book publisher Pegasus just weeks later.
Two further novels are already in the pipeline, with Deborah hoping to spend more time in her writing shed, at home in Pwll, between caring for her many grandchildren.
